Isaiah 43:2
When I was admitted at the hospital for the surgery of my spine, I could see lots of people in great pain and distress caused by brain tumors. God gave me a chance to witness and comfort them at this moment. Most of them got well and went home. Now it was my turn for the surgery, imagine i was put all alone in a room, i felt so lonely and cried out to the Lord, "Jesus, where are you? You promised to be with me at my side." Then there was a flash in my mind and God reminded me of Psalms 23:4.
A hospital can be a lonely place, world of unfamiliar faces, first time surgeries etc. But its in just such a setting that God can quiet our anxious heart and give assurance that He will go through with us down every hall, every medicines and every cuts - "He is there."
Dear friends, may be, you had an unexpected setback or loss, your future is unknown. Trusting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, you can be sure of this: "He will go with you wherever you go" you can believe it. God said that!
"Whenever I feel that Christ is near
All my fears and sorrows flee
Because He is my strength, my hope, my life
He's all in all to me"
