Personal Evangelism
Personal Evangelism is - definite prayer and personal effort to bring a fellow sinner to accept Jesus Christ as his own saviour and follow Him as his Lord. The only power trusted is the Holy Spirit, the only instrument used is the Bible - the Word of God, the only Saviour proclaimed is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Personal Evangelism is not giving away booklets, tracts or even religious literatures to friends and acquaintances. It's also not for those who are invited to attend a place of religous worship or to attend a church. Personal evangelism is not speaking personally to someone about religion, your church, denomination or habits of religious life. All these can be good and right in their place - but they do not alone constitute personal evangelism.
Personal Evangelism consists of Seeking, Praying, Finding and Leading gently a fellow sinner to the foot of the cross, then speaking faithfully: "Jesus died there for you - will you confess your sin, repent and accept Him as your Saviour and henceforth live for Him as your Lord?"
